Indian automotive content creator PowerDrift has hit one million subscribers on YouTube, becoming India’s first automotive YouTube show to achieve this feat.

Started in 2012, PowerDrift has positioned itself as an industry expert in just six years, becoming one of Top 50 Auto channels worldwide, including brand channels. It has cemented its position as a trusted and well-received auto portal in the country.

PowerDrift was recently acquired by GirnarSoft, the parent company of India’s largest auto sites – CarDekho, ZigWheels and Gaadi.com – and aims to transform and revolutionise the way Indian motoring is perceived.

PowerDrift has been educating customers with the right set of information that will help them make the right purchase decision when it comes to automobiles through their buying advice and unbiased reviews on the channel. PowerDrift is about to hit 250 million views and is set to be the fastest to reach that mark.

The most ambitious project for PowerDrift to date has been 'The Next Rider' where PowerDrift collaborated with the who's who of YouTube India and created two episodes on lines of the international Fast&TheFurious franchise. The response to 'The Next Rider' was overwhelming with the mere second episode garnering more than a million views in three days.
