Unacademy partners with The Viral Fever for web series ‘Kota Factory', depicting the lives of IIT aspirants

Set to launch on April 16, 2019, the black and white series seamlessly and naturally integrates the various Unacademy offerings into the narrative

The Viral Fever (TVF) has partnered with Unacademy, the learning platform, to launch ‘Kota Factory’, a ‘black and white’ series that revolves around the lives of IIT aspirants based in Kota, a coaching centre industry in Rajasthan, and the vicissitudes of a student’s life.

Set to launch on April 16, 2019, on TVFPlay and YouTube, Kota Factory stars Mayur More, Jitendra Kumar and Ahsaas Channa; and seamlessly and naturally integrates the various Unacademy offerings into the narrative.

Kota Factory revolves around the life of Vaibhav (Mayur More) a 16-year-old student who moves to Kota with the hope of clearing JEE and getting into an IIT. The show follows his journey as he learns to cope and compete under pressure with the help of his friends, teacher and Unacademy.

Unacademy is an education technology platform founded by Gaurav Munjal, Roman Saini and Hemesh Singh in 2015. It was started as a YouTube channel by Gaurav Munjal in 2010.
