Amazon Music India releases ‘Before You Go On’ series, showcasing artists’ pre-show moments

New Delhi: Amazon Music India is launching 'Before You Go On,' a series capturing the emotions and backstage moments of Indian artists as they prepare to engage with their audiences, featuring their behind-the-scenes conversations just before they go on stage.

The series features conversations and backstage glimpses of artists including Oaff and Savera Mehta, Anuv Jain, and Lucky Ali, where the episodes were shot during the One Night festival in Mumbai.

Composer-producer and singer-songwriter duo Oaff (Kabeer Kathpalia) and Mehta have worked on songs like Doobey, Teri Yeh Baatein, Gehraiyaan, and Beqaaboo.

Independent artist Jain has created songs, including Baarishein, Husn, Gul, and Alag Aasmaan.

The series also features the singer-songwriter Ali, who is known for songs like O Sanam, Ek Pal Ka Jeena, and Safarnama.

Kathpalia, aka Oaff, said, "When you're there on stage and people are singing your songs, it feels like something special. One thing that Mehta and I strongly believe in is to have a very distinct graph."

Mehta added, "We have a bunch of Bollywood songs and independent songs, so it's always about figuring out how to mix them in a way that is coherent and cohesive as a full act."

Jain commented, “Every lyric, every word in my song comes from a personal experience.” He adds. "What truly motivates me to step on stage is my audience and the energy they give. While you can't give retakes when it comes to live shows, that's what makes it unique and beautiful - performing live is a moment between artist and audience that can't be replicated."

'Before You Go On' is now streaming on the Amazon Music App. The episodes drop on the Amazon Music App and YouTube on the following dates:
