Delhi: Amazon has initiated a fresh campaign dubbed #TheUnconventionals, featuring stand-up comedian Rahul Subramanian. This campaign spotlights Amazon executives behind the scenes, with Subramanian posing unconventional questions that often elicit discomfort.

With a background in traditional corporate employment before venturing into comedy, Subramanian injects a comedic touch while showcasing various facets of Amazon, including corporate offices, research and development centres, fashion studios, and fulfilment centres.

The campaign comprises four episodes featuring notable figures such as Nidhi Thakkar, head of creator programs at Amazon; Anand Jain, series development manager for Amazon MiniTV; Manish Chopra, senior art director at Amazon; and Deepti Varma, vice-president of people experience and technology at Amazon India.

In each episode, Subramanian delves into their roles, intriguing aspects of their jobs, work-life balance, and more.

Prior to releasing the episodes, Subramanian engaged his LinkedIn followers by querying what constitutes a great workplace. This initiative captured Amazon's attention, leading to their invitation for Subramanian to visit their office.

Through this campaign, Amazon aims to foster opportunities for experimentation, exploration, training, upskilling, and role transitioning to support the growth of its employees.

The videos are shared on Amazon's YouTube channel and Subramanian's LinkedIn page. Notably, Subramanian has previously released two stand-up specials on Amazon Prime and has featured in several series on Amazon MiniTV.
