New Delhi: Asian Paints has launched the sixth season of its series Kaamyabi ke Rang, focusing on the lives and contributions of painters and contractors across India. The series aims to highlight the individuals who play a crucial role in shaping homes but often remain in the background.
The new season comprises four episodes, each portraying the story of a contractor from a different region of India. All of them have undergone training at the Asian Paints Beautiful Homes Academy, which focuses on enhancing technical and soft skills for professionals in the field. Season 6 presents narratives centred not just on professional success but also on personal transformation, resilience, and identity.
This edition also introduces a different storytelling approach. Unlike previous seasons where the contractors narrated their own stories, Season 6 employs a single, reflective voiceover that ties the episodes together while allowing each story to retain its own character and emotional depth.
The first episode follows Junaid Kazmi, a painter from Delhi who maintains a cheerful outlook despite various personal challenges. His story is told with a comic tone that reflects his personality. The second episode features Amrut Ben from Madhapar, Gujarat, a female contractor navigating a field traditionally dominated by men. Her segment highlights perseverance and quiet strength.
The third episode introduces Bunty Bind from Varanasi, who combines traditional painting skills with digital tools, representing a younger generation of contractors. The final episode profiles Ganniraju Siripura from Vizag, known for his deep commitment to the craft of painting.
Speaking about the series, Amit Syngle, Managing Director & CEO of Asian Paints, said:
“Kaamyabi ke Rang is not just a campaign — it’s a celebration of the people who are at the heart of everything we do. Over the years, we’ve seen painters and contractors grow from small beginnings to becoming respected professionals in their communities. Their journey has been inspiring, and we’re proud to have walked alongside them, not just as a brand, but as a partner who truly believes in their potential. Through training, support, and recognition, we’ve tried to give them the tools and encouragement they need to grow in their work and in their lives. It’s their spirit, pride, and dedication that truly bring homes to life, and we’re honoured to share their stories with the world.”
An impact assessment report found that 79% of participants saw an increase in their monthly income, 88% experienced more work opportunities, and 86% reported gaining social respect. Approximately 80% of participants stated they would recommend the training to others, pointing to the programme’s broader impact on community well-being and professional development.
Season 6 of Kaamyabi ke Rang continues the effort to document and acknowledge the contributions of contractors and painters to the home décor and design ecosystem.
