Brands went all out to capture the emotions of mother’s day and livened up the occasion with creative content.
BuzzInContent.com has curated work done by MG Motor India, Bandhan Life Insurance, Wakefit and Swiggy Instamart.
1) MG Motor India compares mother’s guidance with modern AI
MG Motor India launched a film, 'It's a Motherly Thing,' celebrating mothers' unmatched love and wisdom. The film highlights the unique bond between a mother and her child, drawing parallels between a mother's instinctive care and the modern-day AI assistant in the MG Astor.
The film showcases various scenarios where a mother's voice acts as a guide and course corrector, much like the AI assistant in the MG Astor. It portrays that while AI may have come later to guide us, our mothers have always been our original guides in life. Through the lens of different situations, the film emphasises mothers' essential role in guiding and protecting families and remarks, ‘it’s a motherly thing.’
2) Wakefit draws attention to lack of sleep of young mothers
Wakefit, the furniture company, unveiled an eye-opening film where a host could be seen asking young mothers what gift they would pick for themselves this mother’s day. The alarming response of ‘More sleep,’ ‘Let me sleep until I wake up,’ ‘Aur sone do.’ highlights the reality that mothers lose sleep every night for their family.
Wakefit highlights this harsh reality and proposes to gift mothers their sufficient hours of sleep, this special day.

3) Bandhan Life Insurance highlights mother’s unique connection with her child
Bandhan Life Insurance launched a touching film titled ‘Maa Ki Udaan, Bandhan Se’. This digital film beautifully extends the brand's philosophy of ‘Bharat Ki Udaan, Bandhan Se’ by celebrating the powerful, unspoken bond between mothers and children.
The story follows a mother whose day is disrupted by a case of the hiccups. Despite her best efforts, nothing seems to work until her son returns home with a bruised elbow. As she kneels to care for him, her hiccups vanish – a heartwarming reminder of a mother's protective nature and the unique connection she shares with her child.
4) Swiggy Instamart dabbles with relatable content on mother’s day from parodies to humourous reels
Swiggy Instamart launched a series of films celebrating mother’s day. In the first one, the company roped in influencer Nishchay Verma to perform a parody of the song ‘What Jhumka’ from ‘Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani.’ The film explores the dialogues mothers use when their children’s friends come over.
The second film showcases a handmade card that reminds people of the gift options available for mothers on Instamart and witty one liners to convince them to gift it to their mothers. The third video drives home a humorous reality check as the video captures the reasons mothers get mad at their kids.
