New Delhi: To mark Chartered Accountants Day, Naukri launched a digital campaign recognising the contributions of CAs, incorporating creator-led content, curated hampers, and a satirical video produced in collaboration with The Fauxy.
According to Naukri, seven out of ten CFOs in India are Chartered Accountants, with CA job postings growing 103% year-on-year, outpacing the overall finance job market. The campaign intended to spotlight this professional group, whose work often remains under-recognised in the public domain.
A central element of the initiative was a fictional news segment created by The Fauxy, depicting a hypothetical scenario in which Chartered Accountants did not exist. The satirical clip reached over five million users on social media and generated engagement through memes, comments and shared posts from finance professionals.
The conversation was extended through content shared by CA creators such as Sarthak Ahuja, CA Isha Jaiswal and Finance with Sumit, who posted about CA salary trends, the profession’s evolving landscape, and skill demand. The posts reflected professional experiences and were widely shared across LinkedIn and Instagram.
Naukri also sent gift hampers to over 200 registered Chartered Accountants. The package included an indoor plant, branded coffee mug, stress ball, themed coasters, highlighter, luggage tag and a personalised CA Day message. Images of the hampers were posted by recipients with the custom LinkedIn badge #ProudCA, which subsequently trended across platforms.
“CAs are essential to business, but they’re rarely in the spotlight,” said Sumeet Singh, Group CMO, Infoedge. “We wanted to celebrate them with more than just a social media post. The idea was to combine humour, insight and a bit of surprise, and to give the community a moment they could truly call their own.”
