New Delhi: Online investment platform FundsIndia has introduced a new investor education initiative titled ‘Market ka Sach with FundsIndia Research’. The video series focuses on addressing commonly held beliefs and behaviours that influence retail investment decisions in India.

According to the company, the MythBuster series examines recurring misconceptions such as prioritising short-term returns, dependence on informal stock tips, and financial decisions driven by fear of missing out. The episodes draw on behavioural patterns, long-term market data and research-based analysis to explain how such habits can affect investment outcomes.

The content presents simplified explanations of investment concepts, highlighting the role of consistency, regular investing through systematic investment plans, portfolio reviews and rebalancing. The series also looks at how emotional responses and everyday financial choices can shape long-term wealth creation.

Commenting on the initiative, Akshay Sapru, Group CEO, FundsIndia, said, “Market ka Sach with FundsIndia Research reflects our larger vision of enabling Indians to invest with clarity, confidence, and a long-term perspective. In an environment where short-term opinions and hype often shape market narratives, investors need insights grounded in data, macroeconomic context, and rigorous research.

This initiative is designed to cut through misinformation, decode market cycles, and simplify complex investment concepts, helping investors build disciplined habits and make informed decisions aligned with India’s evolving economic landscape and their long-term financial goals.”

FundsIndia said the series has been developed in partnership with CNBC-TV18. The collaboration combines the broadcaster’s market programming with FundsIndia’s research inputs, using familiar scenarios such as social media content, messaging forwards and market chatter to illustrate investment principles. The company said the format is intended to encourage investors to assess information critically and focus on structured financial planning rather than reactive decision-making.
