New Delhi: Krafton has expanded its Next Star Global Creator Recruitment (NSGCR) programme for PUBG Mobile to include content creators from eight major regions worldwide. The programme, valued at $6 million, supports influencers by providing funding, exclusive in-game items, and broader visibility within the game’s ecosystem, according to a report.
Previously limited to select markets, the initiative is now open in MENA, Western Europe, North America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America, and Africa. The programme is accessible not only to prominent streamers but also to any individual passionate about PUBG Mobile who has posted at least two related videos in the past three months.
According to the report, since its launch in 2021, NSGCR has distributed approximately $3.5 million (£2.6 million) to creators. Besides the financial support, the programme offers additional benefits such as exclusive titles, beta access, and opportunities for collaboration. It also features an annual awards segment recognising creators with notable contributions, functioning as both a funding initiative and a platform for recognition.
Applications for the programme are currently open via the official PUBG Mobile Creator Hub website, which also hosts a dedicated Discord community for networking and updates.
