New Delhi: Creative and entertainment network Only Much Louder (OML) has partnered with Ultraviolette Automotive to release a three-part documentary titled ‘The Fastest Indian’, which focuses on the development of the Ultraviolette F99.
The film features the F99’s record-setting quarter-mile sprint of 10.7 seconds, surpassing the previous national benchmark of 11.6 seconds. Directed and produced by OML, the documentary explores the design and engineering process behind the superbike, offering a detailed look at how the vehicle was conceptualised and built.
The series chronicles the challenges Ultraviolette faced during development, following the journey from the initial concept to performance testing on the track. While the F99’s speed is a focal point, the documentary also examines themes of innovation, persistence, and the evolving role of homegrown electric vehicle manufacturers in India’s automotive landscape.
Tusharr Kumar, CEO of OML, said, “We are proud to have partnered with Ultraviolette Automotive for a documentary that is more than a showcase of performance; it is in fact a reassuring statement on the future of mobility—where cutting-edge technology, sustainability and high-performance racing merge. It is a reflection of how a homegrown brand is not only shaping narratives around electric vehicles in India but also placing Indian engineering on the global map.”
Abhinav Sharma, Vice President, Marketing, Ultraviolette, added, “This journey wasn’t just about building a really fast motorcycle, it was about jumpstarting the 'innovation' conversation through one outrageous idea. The story of The Fastest Indian captures the reality of what we set out to do—One shot, one machine, and no room for second guesses. For the first time ever, we're letting viewers go behind closed doors and discover the untold story of the Ultraviolette F99 in a documentary that is not only creatively charged but also matched our engineering endeavour.”
