New Delhi: Indian wearable technology company Layers, founded by content creator Tech Burner and entrepreneur Neel Gogia, has entered into an equity-based partnership with UK-based design and innovation consultancy Seymour Powell.
Powell will serve as an advisor and creative partner to Layers, contributing to the design and development of its products.
The partnership departs from conventional client-consultancy arrangements, embedding Seymour Powell’s design approach into the strategic and creative functioning of Layers. Its initial focus will be on reimagining Anarc, Layers’ flagship wearable device, with a design philosophy centred on intuitive interaction, modularity, and deeper user engagement.
The move comes amid a growing global wearable market, projected to increase from $98 billion in 2025 to $186 billion by 2030. Layers is among several Indian tech companies navigating a competitive and often standardised consumer electronics landscape.
