New Delhi: Ujjwal Chaurasia, known online as Techno Gamerz, has crossed 50 million subscribers on YouTube, marking a milestone for one of India’s most followed gaming creators. The channel is managed by influencer marketing agency Opraahfx.

Chaurasia began creating gaming content in the mid-2010s, when India’s gaming creator ecosystem was still developing. Over time, he built an audience through a mix of gameplay videos, tutorials and story-driven formats across multiple titles rather than focusing on a single game.

His channel has featured content around games including Grand Theft Auto V, Minecraft, Ranch Simulator, Garena Free Fire, Red Dead Redemption 2 and PUBG.

He started producing tutorial videos for friends and early viewers, eventually turning content creation into a full-time pursuit with support from family. His primary YouTube channel launched in 2017, followed by a second channel in 2018.

Reflecting on his early years, Techno Gamerz said, “From childhood, I had a love for gaming. I would borrow my brother’s phone to play and spend hours on our family PC; those were my early days. Then I realised that people upload their gaming videos online. Back then, my friends thought that I was a great gamer and looked to me for tips. Encouraged by that, I started making tutorial videos for my friends to teach them.”

On reaching the subscriber mark, he said, “I am extremely grateful to my audience for helping me reach 50 million subscribers. This milestone feels surreal and is a reflection of the love and support I have received over the years. My goal has always been to create content that genuinely entertains and connects with people.”

He added, “Gaming is my passion, and I want to keep pushing myself creatively. It’s incredible to witness how quickly the gaming ecosystem is evolving, not just in India but across Asia. I hope to continue delivering bigger and better experiences to my fans.”

The development comes amid continued growth in the gaming sector across the region. According to Lumikai’s State of India Interactive Media and Gaming Report FY24, prepared with Google, India’s gaming market is projected to reach $9.2 billion by FY29, reflecting sustained expansion in interactive entertainment and creator-led content.
