New Delhi: Adobe has rolled out a new content creation space inside its Premiere mobile app for iOS, built specifically for YouTube Shorts creators as part of a strategic collaboration with YouTube.

The dedicated hub, housed under Premiere’s “Create for YouTube” section, is designed to simplify short-form, vertical video production and make pro-grade tools more accessible to emerging creators.

At the core of the experience is a library of exclusive templates developed by leading Shorts creators. Each template comes with preset text, effects, transitions, stickers and title presets that can be customised, reused and shared, allowing creators to quickly assemble videos without building every element from scratch.

On top of that, Premiere mobile layers in advanced editing controls, AI-powered audio enhancements and access to Adobe’s Firefly generative AI for creating images, giving mobile users tools that were earlier associated with desktop workflows.

Access to the Shorts-focused space is free for anyone with a Premiere mobile login. To publish directly to YouTube Shorts from within the app, users need to link their YouTube profile. Creators can also submit their own original templates for possible inclusion in the hub, with Adobe positioning this as a community-led ecosystem that surfaces formats proven to work on Shorts.

YouTube’s product lead said the integration will make it easier for creators to produce content that resonates with audiences on Shorts, which now drives billions of daily views on the platform.

The launch comes as competition intensifies in the mobile editing and short-form space, with tools from CapCut, Instagram Reels and other apps vying for creator attention. Industry watchers see the move as Adobe’s bid to deepen its relevance with younger, mobile-first creators and content marketers beyond its traditional desktop-centric Premiere Pro base.

The new Shorts-focused hub is available now in the latest update to Adobe Premiere mobile on iOS. Android support is expected in early 2026, with Adobe planning to iterate on the space based on user feedback, including the addition of more AI-driven features over time.
