New Delhi: Meta has introduced a new set of updates to its video editing app, Edits, to improve project management rather than expanding creative tools.
Instagram, which operates the app, shared details of the changes late last week. The updates focus on the “Ideas” tab within Edits, where users can now better organise and track their content plans.
“We’ve rolled out new features on the Ideas tab in Edits, including the ability to save audio within Ideas, leave sticky notes on audios you want to create with, mark stickies as done, and filter stickies by status (e.g. ‘to-do’, done, or all) or sort by last edited, date created, or colour,” Instagram said in a statement.
The update allows users to mark sticky notes as completed, which automatically applies a strikethrough effect. Additional filters help users sort sticky notes by their status or timeline, offering better visibility across ongoing projects.
Another change lets users attach notes directly to audio clips, making it easier to return to saved sounds for future editing.
The new features are available in the latest version of Edits and are intended to simplify project tracking within the app.
