New Delhi: Meta announced an expansion of its affiliate marketing options.

The new update will allow creators from around the globe to integrate affiliate links into their content across Meta's family of apps, including Instagram, Facebook, and Threads.

Previously, this feature was limited in scope, but with today's rollout, creators worldwide can now monetiSe their influence by earning commissions from product sales linked within their posts, stories, and live sessions.

This expansion aims to level the playing field, giving creators in less represented markets the same opportunities as those in more established regions.

"Empowering creators is at the heart of what we do," said a Meta spokesperson. "By expanding these monetisation tools globally, we're not only supporting individual creators but also enriching the ecosystem of content on our platforms."

The update includes features like:

  • Simplified Link Integration: Creators can now add affiliate links with fewer steps, directly from the content creation tools.
  • Performance Tracking: Enhanced analytics to help creators understand which products resonate best with their audience.
  • Broader Partner Network: Increased partnerships with brands worldwide, offering a diverse range of products for creators to promote.
