New Delhi: In a special episode of the quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC) Season 16 on Sony Entertainment, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, digital content creators - Samay Raina, Tanmay Bhat, Bhuvan Bam, and Kamiya Jani will take centre stage on Friday, January 31, 2025.

In one of the promos getting viral online, Samay Raina, known for his wit and roast show 'India's Got Latent,' humorously recounted his experiences with Bachchan's film 'Sooryavansham,' jesting about how its endless reruns on television made it the first, second, and third movie he watched of Bachchan's. His quips about why Bachchan's character in the movie consumed poisoned Kheer for a second time had the audience, including Bachchan, in splits.

Bhat added to the humour with his unique perspective. He humorously critiqued his own roasting skills, comparing them to the legendary roasting sessions in Indian households, which had everyone laughing. He touched upon how comedy has evolved with social media, discussing how memes have become a form of cultural commentary.

Bam, known for his YouTube series 'BB Ki Vines,' not only entertained but also shared insights into his journey from a digital creator to an actor.

Bhuvan discussed his transition from a YouTube sensation to a mainstream actor, sharing stories from his series 'BB Ki Vines' and how they resonated with people across India. He also talked about his experiences with acting in more traditional formats, like his web series and music videos. Bhuvan recounted some hilarious fan interactions, including how fans expect him to speak in his character 'Titu Mama's' voice in public.

Jani of 'Curly Tales' fame, known for her food and travel vlogs, highlighted her experiences and the excitement of being on KBC. She discussed how travel vlogging is not just about showcasing food but also about cultural exchange, learning from each region's traditions, and promoting tourism. Kamiya highlighted how her platform has influenced people to explore lesser-known parts of India.

The interactions were punctuated with light-hearted moments like when Samay cheekily asked for a share in Bachchan's property after being humorously adopted as his 'son' through a reference to the dialogue from 'Shahenshah.'

This special episode of KBC also serves as a testament to the growing influence of digital content creators in mainstream media and marketing. With millions of followers across platforms, these creators have transcended from online fame to becoming key figures in brand endorsements and public events.

Businesses have increasingly recognised the value of partnering with content creators for marketing. The episode itself is a good example of a marketing and content amplification straegy, showcasing how creators can amplify the reach and appeal of shows, drawing in viewers who might typically engage more with digital content rather than traditional TV programming.
