New Delhi: Indian social media vlogger Anurag Dobhal, known online as ‘UK07 Rider’, is in intensive care following a car crash on Saturday, March 7, which was broadcast live on Instagram to an estimated 80,000 viewers, according to news reports.

During the livestream, Dobhal, driving his Toyota Fortuner SUV on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway at around 140–150 kmph, appeared distressed and told viewers, “Log hi nahi bache hai yaar jisko phone karu, let's go for a final ride.”

Moments later, he said, “And it's a goodbye,” before the vehicle collided with a divider. In the video, he also addressed his mother, saying, “Mummy, if I come in the next birth, just give love.”

Following the crash, footage circulating online showed Dobhal lying injured on the road while bystanders helped him and called for medical assistance. He was rushed to Subharti Hospital in Meerut, where he is currently receiving treatment in the ICU.

His manager, Rohit Panday, confirmed the hospitalisation, writing on Instagram: “He has been moved to another hospital, currently in ICU and please pray for him. We are in touch with doctors and everyone else.”

In the days preceding the livestream, Dobhal had spoken publicly about experiencing a mental health crisis, describing family harassment related to his inter-caste marriage. He alleged that his parents had withdrawn support and prevented him and his wife from entering their home, which led to emotional distress and previous suicidal thoughts. Dobhal also discussed challenges from his childhood, including treatment for a brain tumour and family pressures regarding academics.

His brother, Kalam Dobhal, has disputed these accounts, posting online that Anurag had cheated on his wife and physically assaulted her, contributing to her departure. Dobhal did not respond publicly to these claims before the crash.

The incident prompted reactions from fellow entertainers, particularly from those who had previously participated in Bigg Boss Season 17 with him. Actor Prince Narula wrote, “Trollers don't understand his situation... shame on you,” while contestant Abhishek Kumar added, “Suicide is not the solution,” noting he had tried to contact Dobhal over the past two days. Aly Goni criticised online users for mocking Dobhal’s mental health struggles, saying: “Sad reality. Shame on you people for making fun of him.”
