YouTube introduces ‘Shopping Collections’ to ease product curation for creators

Delhi: YouTube has introduced ‘Shopping Collections’ , a new way for creators to curate products from their favorite brands - or even their own line! 

Collections will appear in a creator’s product list, Store tab, and video description. At launch, creators can make Collections on the Studio app on their phone, with the feature coming soon to desktop.

YouTube is also launching a new Affiliate Hub directly in the YouTube app so creators can find the latest list of Shopping partners, competitive commission rates, promo codes, and even request samples from top brands.

The Affiliate Hub aims to make it easier for Shopping creators to find the information to start planning their next shoppable video.

Last year, affiliate shopping creators were allowed to tag products across their videos in bulk based on products creators have added to the description.YouTube is expanding this feature to all shopping creators, to tag their own products and merchandise across their video library!

This can help creators earn more revenue from older content that still gets high traffic.

The brand is also adding Fourthwall to their growing list of integrated platforms to make it easier for creators to create and manage their stories directly in YouTube Studio.
