Astral, through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm Astral Foundation, announced the release of a short film in commemoration of International Day of the Girl Child.

This film draws inspiration from the remarkable contributions of Padma Shri Awardee Shyam Sunder Paliwal in Piplantri, Rajasthan.

His work focuses on the protection of the girl child and the conservation of water and trees in the village.

To contribute to the initiative this year, Astral Foundation has installed a 13-kilometer-long pipeline to supply water to the plantation sites.

Additionally, Astral Foundation has proudly planted 5,000 trees to mark the birth of 42 precious daughters in the village of Piplantri on the occasion of International Day of the Girl Child.
