Coke Studio Tamil launches Season 2 with ‘Idhu Semma Vibe'

Coca-Cola has launched the second edition of Coke Studio Tamil.

Over 21 artists from the region unite to craft 9 tracks which exude a fun and relatable vibe, establishing a deep emotional resonance with its audience.

Coke Studio Tamil Season 2 engages its audience in the subtleties of coming of age, culture, celebration, friendships and camaraderie, love, and passion all strung together in fresh tunes and melody, curated by producer Sean Roldan. The artists' tracks will be released over the next few months 2024 on the Coke Studio Tamil YouTube handle.

The title track, "Idhu Semma Vibe," translating to 'feeling awesome,' epitomises the energetic and positive vibe brought to life by the incredible artists collaborating on this season.

Each track in the upcoming season is crafted to accentuate specific feelings that resonate with the pulse of this generation. The songs highlight the vision of the composer with fascinating visuals and storytelling that will resonate with youngsters across borders.

Coke Studio Tamil Season 2 boasts a lineup of artists who have left an indelible mark in their respective fields curated by musician Sean Roldan. The roster includes Vijay Sethupathi, actor and producer;  GV Prakash Kumar, actor and musician; Arivu and The AmbassA, band; Andrea Jeremiah, singer and actress; Aditi Rao Hydari, actress and singer; Girishh Gopalakrishnan, music director, and composer, Yanchan, emerging indie-pop artist; Asal Kolaar, hip-hop artist; Vidya Vox, international YouTube artist; Rajalakshmi, playback singer; Sanjay Subrahmanyan, Carnatic music maestro; Navz-47, rapper; Justin Prabhakaran, music composer; Sithara Krishnakumar, playback singer; Kapil Kapilan, rising star in the music scene, Arun Raja, singer and lyricist; R K Adithya, playback singer; Sivaangi Krishnakumar singer and actress, Sathyaprakash Dharmar, recording artist.
