Meta has announced that creators can now post up to 90 seconds long Reels on Facebook. Previously, the limit for Reels was only 60 seconds on the platform.
Another creative tool that Meta has rolled out for Facebook is a new templates feature that lets users create Reels with trending templates.
The feature allows users to create new Reels using the same structure as one they just watched.
Another update on the platform regarding Reels is ‘Memories Ready-made Reels’, where Meta offers pre-made Reels that enable one to share cherished moments on Reels by simply tapping a button.
The platform has also added the Grooves feature whereby using visual beat technology, a creator’s video’s motion can be automatically synchronised to the rhythm of the preferred song.
It is pertinent to note here that all four features were first introduced on Instagram and then brought to Facebook.
