‘Discovery Super School League’ (DSSL) is back with season 5. The latest season has commenced ground operations of the national-level school quiz.

With the motto ‘Seekh ke Samjho, samajh ke jeeto’, it aims to target 10 million students across 2m000+ cities in a new hybrid format. The first round of tests has now commenced for season 5.

Over 2.4 million young minds, across 23,400+ schools in India participated in Season 4 of quiz show ‘Discovery Super School League’ (DSSL) which witnessed the finale of the season hosted by Mini Mathur and Cyrus Sahukar.

‘Maharashtra Masterminds’, with team members of Saburendu Ghosh from Mumbai, Shailesh Shivaji Musale from Buldhana and Sarang Vinayak Thakare from Amravati, emerged as the winners of the fourth season of DSSL.

In partnership with Byju’s, the winners and their school principals won a chance to go on an all-expenses paid trip to NASA.

Additionally, the top three teams including Maharashtra Masterminds, ‘Himachal Pradesh Mavericks’ who stood second and ‘Arunachal Pradesh Aces’ who finished in the second runner up position also received a generous cash prize and national recognition by appearing on Discovery Channel.

 ‘Maharashtra Masterminds’ said, “We’re so grateful to Discovery and Byju’s for granting us this platform to showcase our talent. It was a life-changing experience and one we’ll cherish forever. Through the quiz we channelized our critical thinking skills and uncovered potential, even we didn’t know we had. Plus, very rarely does someone have the incredible opportunity to witness the NASA grounds in real life. This competition allowed us to achieve this lifelong dream.”
