Goafest 2019: Cheil India wins Branded Content and Entertainment Specialist of the Year

FCB India was a close No. 2. A total of 17 metals were awarded in the category, where Cheil India fetched two Gold metals for adidas ‘The real Kashmir' and FCB got one Gold and one Silver for Horlicks' ‘Fearless songs'

Goafest 2019 announced the Abby winners in the Branded Content and Entertainment category on the last day of India’s biggest advertising event. Cheil India was awarded Branded Content and Entertainment Specialist Agency of the Year title, winning two Gold for adidas’ ‘The real Kashmir’. FCB India was a close No. 2 winning one Gold and one Silver for Horlicks’ ‘Fearless Songs’. The two agencies were followed by Ignite Mudra that won three Bronze metals for Osram’s ‘Save the Ocean’ campaign.

Cheil got the Gold medals in the sub-category ‘Best use or integration of experiential events, creative positioning of a brand using events, festivals, flash mobs, installations, etc.,’ and ‘Best non-fiction programme, series or film where a client has successfully created a reality, documentary or entertainment show around a product or a brand, including TV, mini-series, web series, cinema, DVD releases and online/digital’.

FCB India won a Gold in the sub-category ‘Best use of integration of music including music in original branded content, brand integration into music distribution or promotion, the creation of a music-based programme or platform’. The Silver won by the agency for the same brand campaign is in the sub-category ‘Best integrated entertainment content campaign which uses more than two media’.

The other organisations that won awards in the category were Signpost India, Hakuhodo, Mindshare, Radio Mirchi, Whats Your Problem Medulla Network, Dentsu Webchutney, Innocean Worldwide, Liqvd Asia and River Advertising.
