Lifestyle channel Goodtimes has launched a new mini-cooking show series ‘Challenge the Chef’ with Chef Vicky Ratnani in collaboration with Goldiee Spices. A lot of cooking shows are available online and on TV, but this time the audience will get to choose the ingredients of recipes through a poll on the digital platforms of Goodtimes. Using the winning ingredient and a pantry full of Goldiee spices, Chef Vicky will accept the challenge to cook a dish every week.

The show will release weekly on the Facebook and YouTube pages of Goodtimes, starting July 11 every Saturday at 12pm.

Sudeep Goenka, Owner and MD, Goldiee Group, said, “Goldiee takes pride in collaborating with the two stalwarts of the respective industries, Goodtimes and Chef Vicky Ratnani. We believe cooking is a hobby, it is also an art. It is passion and above all, it is creativity for bonding of relations between one to one and one to many. In Challenge the Chef, Chef Vicky Ratnani is the magician on the grand stage of Goodtimes and the magic pan will spread aromas and flavours to mesmerise the audience, only to replicate it by their own hands with Goldiee Spices in their own kitchen.”

Arati Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Goodtimes, said, “With India stepping into the next stages of ‘Unlock India’, we thought it was time to offer our audiences a new dash of fun, food and flavour on our digital platforms. We partnered with Goldiee Spices and Chef Vicky Ratnani to create a web series that will allow audiences to interact with their favourite chef and learn some delectable recipes that will take regular food notches up. Our digital audience base is growing manifold each week, and we feel it’s important to keep everyone entertained, to keep spirits up and to create content that is original, engaging, and useful at the same time. Therefore, we are releasing the show first on Goodtimes’ Facebook and YouTube pages for all our foodie audiences to enjoy! Now you can sit back, press play and simply cook along. There’s a lot more coming up; so keep your eyes on our social media pages as we keep delivering fresh content on #GoodFoodWithGoodtimes.”
