The Viral Fever (TVF) has collaborated with Infinix, the global tech brand, for the third season of their show, ‘Bachelors’.

Bachelors along with sketches like Saavdhan Patrol, Rabish ke Report and Kekda Tank has already reaped 15 million+ views organically on YouTube and is one of the most watched and loved shows among the Indian youth.

It seems like the right kind of marriage where a brand like Infinix, that caters to the youth and their need for gadgets, partners with a show like ‘Bachelors’ that has a deep connect with them.

Anish Kapoor, CEO, Infinix, said, “We are pleased to be associated with The Viral fever for Season 3 for the popular show, Bachelors. Since the time we’ve entered the Indian market, we have maintained a solid growth trajectory accompanied by the trust and loyalty of our partners and customers. Our customers’ trust gave us confidence to venture into new categories such as Laptops and TVs. Today, Infinix has carved a niche for itself in the Indian smartphone markets. More than 80% of Infinix consumers fall in the age group of 18- 44 and we have a deep connect with the youth, that resonates well with TVF.”

The journey of Bachelors to started in 2016 with just four episodes and continued in 2017 for a second season, this time with five episodes. TVF made a strong comeback in 2022 with a total of four episodes plus a reunion special episode namely, Bachelors vs Games.

Abhinav Anand, the Director of the web-series, said, “The show is an ode to the millions of Bachelors in this country and it’s about their day- to-day struggles. Be it about problems with their landlord or with marriage or games or themselves. The show draws parallels from the greatest Indian movies and puts these issues at the centre of it. What unfolds is a laugh riot and gives the youngsters a true escape that's needed.”

While watching Bachelors, one realises how significant spoof genre has been in the world of TVF. In fact, their very first video named Rowdies was a spoof of a popular TV show.

“Spoof genre has been one of TVF’s strong point right from the early days, in fact, the first video we ever made was Rowdies. The fun and irreverent nature of Spoofs has been enjoyed widely by Indian youth on digital for years. Infinix as a brand challenges the mundane, and their tonality strongly matches this genre of comedy. The Bachelors series takes spoof comedy to the next level and when we narrated Season 3 to Infinix, it was a snug fit with the way they’re positioning the brand. The partnership became a wider one with TVF also activating some of its other marquee spoofs like Rabish Ki Report and Saavdhan Patrol on The Screen Patti,” said Vijay Koshy, President, TVF.

“Infinix has always endeavoured to provide innovative technologies for the country’s evolving users. Backed by the first-in-segment product offerings and the consumer-first marketing approach, Infinix has found a sound footing in the online segment and is soon expanding to the offline market as well. As of now, we have a community of over 9 million people and we believe that this partnership with TVF would be a great opportunity to expand our reach,” added Kapoor.

Bachelors Season 3 is being simulcasted on both the TVF YouTube channel and Mini TV on the Amazon App.
