We’ve thanked the medical fraternity, we’ve thanked the frontline workers, and fairly so. We owe them so much. But have we spared time to think about the crucial roles played by the ‘Little Big’ people such as drivers, security guards, milkmen, and house-helps in our lives? Have we ever wondered what would happen if they didn’t show up?

As a tribute to the people who show up each day, despite the odds, realty major K Raheja Corp has released an ode, recognising and thanking these very essential people for all that they do and their ‘Little Big’ efforts.

The video:

The video prominently features essential warriors from milkmen to security guards, domestic workers, policemen, doctors, public serviced drivers, delivery executives, media crew, and municipal cleaners performing their tasks with commitment, day after day, despite the odds, with a smile. The song is written and composed exclusively to salute these real heroes at work. The video is intended to extend a message of hope, encouragement, appreciation, and gratitude towards these essential superheroes, the ‘Little Big’ people.

Urvi Aradhya, CHRO, said, “The catastrophic surge of Covid-19 cases across the country has directly or indirectly impacted each one of us. Through this tribute, conceptualised by our communications team, we wanted to thank not just our frontline warriors, but the many essential support warriors who may not come draped in PPE kits, yet show up to work each day, and write a new chapter of humanity.”

This is one of the many other company-wide solidarity initiatives undertaken by K Raheja Corp. From extending support for Covid-19 relief by supplying oxygen concentrators, to aiding local authorities, municipal corporations, and non-profit organisations in procuring essential medical supplies, their involvement has been consistent.

The group recently set up a centralised 24x7 Covid War Room backed by a team of employees committed to assisting people in need. Additionally, they are encouraging their employees to Time Off for Volunteering to pursue community service.
