Recently, Tecno Mobile, a part of Transsion Holdings, and Manchester City kicked off their trophy tour in India where they brought the biggest trophies of the football world for the consumers to experience them.
The mobile phone brand has become Manchester City’s official ‘Mobile Photography’ partner for the India Trophy tour 2019, which spans across multiple cities across India.
The brand invited a few influencers at the event to click pictures of themselves and the trophies from Tecno phones and posts on social media to showcase the camera quality. Tecno made sure that the influencers it collaborated with have a high mass appeal in the Indian target audience. The influencers also posted a video on their Instagram handles to promote and create buzz around the event.

The renowned football club Manchester City too posted about the event collaboration on its social media handle, which has a following of more than 16 million, giving the brand massive reach and opportunity to grab the Indian audience attention.

The brand was able to garner more than 12 million views with the media value worth estimated around Rs 20 lakh. The brand is associated with the current EPL and FA Cup Champions, Manchester City Football Club since 2016. Both the partners decided to extend their global partnership earlier this year in July.
