Samar Singh Sheikhawat has resigned from United Breweries citing personal reasons. His last working day at the organisation was July 31. Sheikhawat hasn’t decided on his next move and is exploring opportunities.

The company is yet to decide on his successor who could take care of the brand’s marketing duties.

Sheikhawat was one of the six officials of the company who took care of the brand through the transition when Heineken took control and now has a 44% stake in the company.

Before joining UB Group, Sheikhawat was Vice-President, Marketing, at Spencer’s Retail, General Manager Marketing at PepsiCo and was also a part of Dabur’s sales and marketing team.
