Social media influencers help ‘UPI Chalega' spread financial awareness about digital payments

As part of NPCI's aim to create awareness on UPI-related fraudulent activities, UPI Chalega has roped in content creators to highlight the benefits of a safe and secure transaction process

UPI Chalega, an Instagram page by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), has associated with multiple digital creators from various categories like finance, comedy, lifestyle, parenting, etc. to spread financial awareness and to educate the masses about the frauds and scams that can happen over UPI.

The influencer campaign is gaining traction on social media as it draws public attention towards what are the underlying threats that one must be aware of so as to ensure a scam-free experience while carrying out transactions on UPI.

As per Sheeko, most of the influencers roped in for the campaign have an appeal to the younger age audience. Thus, with the campaign, NPCI is aiming to educate the younger audience and through them spread the awareness to the parents.
