TVF's Head of Marketing Vineet Kanabar moves to Wavemaker as Senior Director, Content Partnerships

Based in Mumbai, Kanabar will report to Jigar Rambhia, National Director at Wavemaker

The Viral Fever’s Head of Marketing, Vineet Kanabar, is set to join WPP-owned Wavemaker as Senior Director, Content Partnerships in June 2019. Based in Mumbai, Kanabar will report to Jigar Rambhia, the agency’s National Director and will work closely with Karthik Nagarajan, Chief Content Officer.

Kanabar told BuzzInContent.com, “I was looking for something slightly more different in the content space beyond comedy and fiction. Wavemaker is the best agency in the country we have now in terms of content. It is a great opportunity to work with Karthik and the entire team at Wavemaker.”

Kanabar joined TVF in 2016 as Associate Director, Marketing and was promoted to Head of Marketing in 2016. Under his leadership, TVF won multiple awards for TVF Tripling and Airtel Connect Love, etc. He managed a team of 19 people at the company.

Before TVF, Kanabar was Group Head, Digital Strategy, PHD Worldwide.

He is a visiting faculty at various colleges, including Welingkar Institute of Management, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and others for courses across digital, social media, entertainment and celebrity management.

Kanabar did a Post Graduate Diploma in Management in Communications from MICA and is a mechanical engineer from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
