Yesterday, Instagram was buzzing with the star-studded posts of entertainment content platforms Voot, Hotstar VIP and Walt Disney to promote their shows and movies. Any content campaign fetches instant awareness if it is led by celebrities and influencers with a huge fan following. So, why not leverage it?


The OTT platform did a campaign with the participants of shows such as Big Boss, Ace of Space and Splitsvilla to raise awareness and bring more audience on board.

Another OTT platform Hotstar VIP has done a campaign with the cast of the movie Chhichhore to promote its release on Hotstar.

Walt Disney

One of the world’s biggest content companies had Priyanka Chopra promoting the release of the new movie Frozen 2 on November 22, 2019. Both Priyanka and Parineeti Chopra have lent their voices in the Hindi version of the movie for the characters.

Sheeko’s Brandscore leaderboard showed some interesting data points about the three Instagram campaigns done by the three entertainment content companies. 

With Chopra’s fan following of 46.1 million on Instagram, the actress was alone able to fetch 45 million+ eyeballs for Walt Disney. While for Hotstar VIP, Shradha Kapoor and Navin Polishetty’s (Chhichhore actors) posts together got a reach of 35+ million. Kapoor has a following of 36.2 million and Polishetty has a following of 2.28K on Instagram. Voot’s reality shows’ participants and hosts were able to fetch 29 million eyeballs altogether.
