The Immortals

New Delhi: DSP Mutual Fund has released its original documentary film, The Immortals, which explores enduring values, human wisdom, and the lessons that come with time. The 45-minute film is not focused on financial markets or investing but rather on people, relationships, and the long-term perspective on life.

The documentary features nine elders who share their experiences, reflections, joys, regrets, and perspectives with a young poet. Their conversations highlight lessons that arise from living fully, making mistakes, and learning honestly, rather than chasing wealth. The film seeks to connect with audiences across generations, encouraging reflection on health, family, friendships, kindness, courage, and leaving a meaningful legacy.

“The Immortals is perhaps the most un-marketing thing we’ve ever created, and maybe that’s why it exists. We weren’t trying to game viewership models in a world of aggressive social media gimmicks chasing instant gratification. We weren’t trying to sell anything. We simply wanted to listen to people who’ve lived long enough to see what truly lasts,” said Abhik Sanyal, Head of Marketing, DSP Mutual Fund.

“These nine elders don’t offer gyaan. They offer their truths – gentle, earned, imperfect, human truths. They remind us that the most important investments aren’t financial; they’re the quiet, everyday ones we make in our families, our friendships, our health, and our values. For us at DSP, this film is like a reset.

A reminder that ‘Invest for Good’ isn’t a slogan - it’s a way of looking at life. If even one person walks away feeling a little lighter, a little grounded, or a little kinder, then the film has already done its job. I hope that instead of pressing skip after five minutes, this film holds the attention of anyone who cares about building better lives, just a little longer.”

The documentary is now available for viewing, and DSP encourages audiences, including investors, financial advisors, and the wider public, to watch, reflect on its lessons, and share the insights it presents.
