Equitas SFB aids Rajasthani woman’s entrepreneurial ‘Circle Of Life’

Delhi: Equitas Small Finance Bank, as part of its ‘Beyond Banking’ initiative, aided Sarla Jain from Rajasthan to start her entrepreneurial journey. 

Through the “Circle of Life” film, Equitas aims to showcase Jain’s story of strength and determination to inspire people to not compromise and fight for a better tomorrow.

Jain faced challenges like early marriage and abandonment by her husband, but never lost hope. She started small by working as a domestic helper and cook, while envisioning a brighter future. 

From Equitas Small Finance Bank’s loan options, she began borrowing a sum of Rs. 15,000 and embarked on her entrepreneurial journey. She established a garment boutique, empowering not only herself but a dozen women by creating employment opportunities.
