Reise Moto releases ‘Destination Dakar’ documentary

New Delhi: Reise Moto, the tyre manufacturer and a motorcycle accessories and apparel brand has released ‘Destination Dakar,’ a three-episode docuseries showcasing the journey of Ashish Raorane, Indian cross-country rally racer and Reise Moto’s brand endorser. 

The series takes viewers on an inspiring ride through the challenges, triumphs, and transformation of a global athlete on the rise.

‘Destination Dakar’ highlights the gruelling yet glorious path of rally racing, reflecting Reise Moto’s ethos of resilience and adaptability. It captures the highs and lows of Ashish’s quest, emphasising his mental and physical transformation, especially after a significant crash during Dakar 2024. The series underscores Ashish’s determination to rise above setbacks and Reise Moto's critical role in supporting his journey.

The first episode of the Dakar Series exposes the brutal realities of the race, highlighting the toll on vehicles, tyres, and athletes amidst treacherous terrains and extreme climates. The episode also addresses the challenges racers from underserved regions face, particularly access to essential Dakar-level equipment, including high-performance tyres. It features Ashish showcasing his story, past challenges, recent injuries, and breakdowns. 

Subsequent episodes follow Ashish's tyre testing journey through Baja Aragon and Jaisalmer (Episode 2), culminating in Rallye du Maroc (Episode 3), showcasing the collaborative development of Dakar-ready tyres and its potential to empower future racers.
