The Titus Upputuru Company and Grapes create 3-minute film ‘Iftaari’ for Eicher

New Delhi: On the occasion of Ramadan, Eicher Tractors and Buses, Bangladesh released a film titled ‘Iftaari’ (Breaking the fast). 

The film is crafted by Grapes and produced by The Titus Upputuru Company.

The film shows an old man stranded on the road due to a broken vehicle. He was going to take a few blind children to the mosque to help them break their fast and offer prayers. A compassionate man driving an Eicher Bus stops by and offers to drop them. As he helps the children sit in the bus, he calls up his wife and informs her that he won’t be able to make it in time to break the fast. 

The blind children listen to the conversation and secretly leave all their lunch boxes behind for the man who had helped them. When the man realises the sacrifice that the children have made, he buys some sweets along the way, rushes back to the children in the mosque and hugs them with tears in his eyes. 

The voiceover sums up the film: Goodness may not always be seen but can always be felt.
