New Delhi: Delhi Capitals, the JSW and GMR co-owned franchise, has released ‘DC PG by Gulati,’ a cricket-themed mini web series. The first of 14 episodes premieres today on the team’s official YouTube channel, with two episodes releasing each week.

The series features actor Rajesh Sharma as Gulati, a landlord who is a Delhi Capitals fan and only allows fellow DC supporters to stay in his Delhi-based paying guest (PG) accommodation. But soon non-DC fans sneak in in his PG leading to chaos.

The episodes are, on an average, four minutes long. The series has been envisioned by writer-director Panky, who heads the One Happy Crew production house, and brought to life by cinematographer Aseem Bajaj.

Sunil Gupta, Chief Executive Officer, Delhi Capitals, said, “One of the key objectives for us at the Capitals is to keep our fans thoroughly engaged, and this season, we wanted to create something that truly reflects their passion through a fresh lens. ‘DC PG by Gulati’ is our unique way of telling the story of DC’s fans by blending fandom with humour. It’s short, fun, and packed with elements that every cricket fan can easily relate to.”

“We are really excited to bring this concept to life with the support of Panky and their entire production team. The character Gulati, enacted by Sharma, is an endearing personality who will leave fans thoroughly entertained throughout the season,” he added.

The first episode of 'DC PG by Gulati' will be live later tonight.
