New Delhi: Qualcomm’s Snapdragon is set to launch a creator programme as part of its efforts to build a stronger community of young tech enthusiasts and content creators in India and globally. The initiative will offer early access to products, technical guidance, and a dedicated studio environment for creators to build their content.

Speaking exclusively to BestMediaInfo.com, Sumit Sonal, Head of Marketing at Qualcomm India, said, “We will soon start a Snapdragon Insider creator programme. We will identify young talent, particularly Gen Zs, who are increasingly interested in content creation. Through the Creator Programme, we aim to build studios, provide technical guidance, early product access, and help creators succeed while staying connected with the brand.

“If we don’t enable them at the right time, we lose the chance to guide and engage them,” he added.

Snapdragon is active in doing a lot of community workshops. Today, it has roughly 20 lakh Snapdragon Insiders in India. The Snapdragon Insiders community is open to anyone who registers and engages with the brand.

Sonal explained, “Anybody who has engaged with the brand today is basically a Snapdragon Insider. We also have city-wise pockets in places like Patna and Odisha, which we trigger for local engagement. These small pockets keep our conversations active across the country.”

Currently, members of the community receive merchandise as incentives. The next phase, however, aims to involve them more deeply through content creation.

The content created under the programme will be hosted under “snapdragon.tv,” which will operate globally across YouTube, Instagram, Discord, and Reddit.

“Discord is already active. Globally, we want to bring together the strongest regions and align our creators. The idea is to own the conversation, without overdoing technical jargon. People don’t relate to terms like megahertz or gigahertz anymore. They relate to what technology can do for them,” Sonal explained.

The brand has already tested community engagement through unique experiences. Last year, Snapdragon Insiders were invited to meet trainers from the Manchester United Soccer School in Delhi, Noida, and Gurgaon. “We called all the insiders to participate. It was part of our on-ground engagement to keep the community active and connected with the brand,” Sonal said.

With the Snapdragon Insider creator programme, Qualcomm aims to leverage the energy of young creators and their digital reach to strengthen its brand presence while providing them with tools and opportunities to grow.

“We want to build a community where creators not only consume our products but also become part of the conversation, creating content that reflects their experiences and insights,” Sonal concluded.

The programme is expected to roll out in the coming months and represents a significant step in Qualcomm’s strategy to combine product innovation with community-driven marketing, particularly among India’s young digital-first audience.
