New Delhi: Bigg Boss 19 champion Gaurav Khanna has announced the restoration of his official YouTube channel, which was mysteriously terminated just hours after its launch following his reality show victory.
The 43-year-old actor, best known for his role as Anuj Kapadia in the hit TV series Anupamaa, shared the update on social media, expressing excitement and urging followers to subscribe for "unfiltered vlogs" about his life post-Bigg Boss.
The channel's takedown occurred shortly after Khanna's win on December 20, 2025, when he emerged victorious in the controversial season of Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan. Fans speculated wildly about the reasons, with some online discussions pointing to potential violations like fake subscribers or views, as YouTube's algorithms cracked down on suspicious activity.
Others attributed it to overwhelming traffic from eager supporters flooding the platform. Khanna himself remained tight-lipped on the exact cause but confirmed the channel's return in a post on December 23, 2025, stating, "Mein wapas aa gaya" (I'm back), accompanied by a video message thanking fans for their patience.
"Guys, my YouTube channel is finally back! It was down for a bit, but we're stronger now. Subscribe and let's start this journey with some real, unfiltered content," Khanna said in his announcement, which quickly garnered thousands of likes and shares across platforms like Instagram and X.
The channel, titled "Gaurav Khanna Official," had been launched to share behind-the-scenes glimpses of his Bigg Boss experience, personal stories, and interactions with co-contestants.
Khanna's Bigg Boss journey was marked by intense drama, strategic gameplay, and on-screen clashes that kept viewers hooked throughout the season, which ran from October 2025. The actor surprised many by outlasting favourites and clinching the trophy along with a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh. His win has catapulted him to new heights of fame, with social media buzzing about his post-show plans.
Prior to Bigg Boss, Khanna built a successful career in Indian television, starring in popular shows like Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, and most notably Anupamaa, where his chemistry with co-star Rupali Ganguly earned him a loyal following.
Married to actress Akanksha Chamola since 2016, Khanna often credits his family for his grounded approach amid the glitz of showbiz.
