New Delhi: Dubai has officially launched the 'Creators HQ' at Emirates Towers. This initiative, unveiled during the third edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit 2025, is designed to attract 10,000 influencers to the UAE.
The Creators HQ is the brainchild of a AED 150 million (approximately $40.8 million) Content Creators Support Fund, initiated under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
This fund aims to empower creators, amplify their impact, and create sustainable frameworks for the growing creator economy.
The launch event, themed 'Content for Good', gathered over 15,000 content creators, 420 speakers, and 125 CEOs and global experts at various venues across Dubai, including the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the Museum of the Future.
The Creators HQ begins with an inaugural membership of 100 creators from 20 countries.
Membership at Creators HQ comes with an array of benefits tailored to support the flourishing of digital content creation. These include assistance with UAE Golden Visa applications, which allow recipients to stay in the UAE for five to ten years without the need for a national sponsor or regular visa renewal. Additional advantages encompass relocation support and guidance on company setup and registration, making it easier for creators to establish their professional bases in Dubai.
The initiative also promises over 300 events and workshops annually, focusing on branding, video production, storytelling, audience engagement, monetisation, and sponsorship, catering to the evolving needs of the global creator economy.
Dubai's strategic vision with Creators HQ extends beyond mere infrastructure. The hub has already secured partnerships with major platforms like Meta, TikTok, X, and others, ensuring creators have access to cutting-edge tools, mentorship, and funding opportunities. The goal is not just to attract influencers but to nurture a broad spectrum of creative talent, including podcasters, visual artists, and professionals from advertising, media production, and fashion sectors.
