Iranian beauty influencer Nasim Irani transforms into Kajol, users say “Better than AI”

New Delhi: Makeup artist and content creator Nasim Irani, from Iran, recently transformed herself into Bollywood actress Kajol using only makeup. She called it the art of shapeshifting, and social media users were impressed, with many saying her work was "Even Better Than AI."

The video has reportedly gained more than 28 million views, more than 1.1 million likes, and thousands of comments.

On September 14, 2025, Irani shared a video on her Instagram account showing the process of turning into Kajol, set to the song “Yeh Ladka Hai Allah” from the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. She captioned the post: "Tried to turn into @kajol today… Did I succeed, or should I keep practising? Do you know which movie this song is from?"

Social media users reacted strongly to the transformation, with many praising the accuracy and detail of her work. Comments included: "When you end up looking more like Kajol than herself, amazing job!" and "Ok, is this AI? Cause it's scary! Damn, you’re so talented." Others noted, "Even better than AI," and "Oh bhai same to same."

The video documented Irani’s step-by-step process, beginning with her natural look and progressing through foundation, contouring and eye makeup designed to mimic Kajol’s distinctive features, particularly her eyes and bold brows.
