Malini Agarwal steps down from Miss Malini Entertainment

New Delhi: Malini Agarwal, the founder of Miss Malini Entertainment, has announced that she is officially stepping down from her role of Creative Director at the Bollywood gossip venture. Sharing a post on Instagram, Agarwal said, “After years of love, laughter, and oodles of glam, I am officially moving on from my role as Creative Director at Miss Malini Entertainment to begin a whole new adventure.”

Along with the post, Agarwal shared her journey over the years building the platform and the various feats achieved. 

Founded in 2008, Miss Malini Entertainment started as a personal blog and evolved into a multi-platform content company covering Bollywood, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. In her post, she also thanked the company’s current leadership and parent group for their continued support and confirmed that the brand would continue to operate under their direction.

Miss Malini Entertainment was acquired by the Good Glamm Group in 2021. Following the acquisition, Agarwal took on the role of co-founder at the group’s influencer marketing division, Good Creator Co. Reportedly, the acquisition was done for Rs 3 crore. 

In April 2025, the platform’s ownership then shifted to Creativefuel, a digital agency, with the deal priced at Rs 6 crore. Creativefuel was founded by Nikhil Sukhramani and Tushar Sukhramani in 2018.

Agarwal started her journey into the creative field as a copywriter. She then moved on to becoming a radio DJ. She also ran a column titled “Malini Mumbai” for Mid Day. She has worked with BBC as the Asia Network Bollywood Correspondent before finally starting Miss Malini in 2008.
