New Delhi: Actor Parag Tyagi has launched a YouTube channel to share his story with late wife and actor Shefali Jariwala, who was best known for the 2002 music video Kaanta Laga.
The move follows the establishment of the Shefali Jariwala Rise Foundation, created to support education for underprivileged children and women’s empowerment, as per the report.
In a video posted on Instagram against a backdrop of greenery and water, Tyagi spoke about Jariwala’s love for nature and how it shaped the initiative.
“So friends, as we promised you last time, that we will tell our story on our channel. So that’s the next step. Very soon, we are going to tell our story on Pari’s channel. And we have taken this step at this beautiful location because Pari loved nature very much. This is also going to be a surprise, how we will start our podcast or our channel,” he said.
He continued, “We are going to launch our channel where we will share our story, how we met, where we met, our life together, and what happened that day. I will share everything with you.”
Tyagi ended the video by thanking fans for their continued support for Jariwala’s foundation. His caption read, “Doston coming very very soon sharing our story on our YouTube channel in couple of days, pls give us your love as u have always given and be a part of Pari’s foundation.”
When announcing the foundation earlier, Tyagi had stated that all revenue from the YouTube channel would be directed to the NGO. “Any promotion and monetary coming from these are going to my Pari’s foundation,” he wrote.
Shefali Jariwala died on June 28 at the age of 42 after a suspected cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence. She was declared dead on arrival at Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital.
