New Delhi: Prolithic, a newly launched athlete management agency, has announced the appointment of former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh as a mentor. Known for his role in India’s 2011 World Cup win and his record of six sixes in an over, Singh is expected to contribute to the agency’s efforts to support athlete development across levels.

In its initial phase, the agency has also signed Indian cricketer and recent IPL performer Abhishek Sharma for representation.

Prolithic describes its approach to athlete management as holistic, with a focus on integrating wellness, performance optimisation, and long-term career planning. The agency has indicated plans to work with nutritionists, fitness trainers, recovery specialists, and experienced mentors to support the physical and mental development of emerging athletes.

The venture has been co-founded by Ravi Bhagchandka, known for producing the cricket biopic 200 NOT OUT; Sagar Khanna, owner of the New York Strikers, a franchise active in the Abu Dhabi T10 and Caribbean Max 60 tournaments; and Shazmeen Kara, who serves as the Managing Director.

Reflecting on his role, Singh said, “When I look back at my journey, I know how important the right guidance, fitness, diet and mental strength are to survive and succeed in any sporting career. What we’re building with Prolithic is something I wish I had when I started early.”

Prolithic Talent Agency Private Limited plans to expand its athlete roster in the coming months, across multiple sporting disciplines.
