Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja launches YouTube vlog, brings comparisons to Farah Khan

New Delhi: Sunita Ahuja, the wife of actor Govinda, has launched her own YouTube vlog, attracting attention for its similarities to filmmaker Farah Khan’s weekly vlogs.

The first episode, titled “Aab Mein Paise Chapugi (Now, I will mint some money),” was released on August 14. Within 24 hours, Ahuja’s channel reportedly gained nearly 50,000 subscribers and over 670,000 views, according to reports.

In the vlog, Sunita features her own ‘Dilip,’ called Mukesh, who is said to be a member of her staff. Mukesh accompanies her to a distant mandir, where she prays for her husband, Govinda. Viewers noted a resemblance to Farah Khan’s format, which features her cook, Dilip, in similar vlogs.

Posting on Instagram, Ahuja wrote, “Biwi No 1 aab aa chuki hai YouTube channel par. Please, Jake dekho mere YouTube video link in bio like karo, share karo, subscribe kardoo, and comment me batao kaisa laga aapko.”

Reactions from netizens were mixed. Some criticised the similarity to Farah Khan, with one commenting, “Yeh Farah Khan ki sasti copy banne ki koshish kar rahi hai,” while another wrote, “Ma'am, please don't copy Farah Khan. It doesn't look nice on you, at least.”

Others, however, suggested potential collaboration. “From Farah Khan Mam's story. Se direct Sunita Mam apke YouTube Tak ka safar maza aagaya,” said a social media user, while another added, “Farah Khan, Archana mam now Sunita mam so happy to see you on YouTube aur pheli video m hi Mahadev ji or Mata Rani ke darshan kra diye. Bike vala scene is so hilarious. She is so pyaari.”

Another user expressed excitement at the possibility of collaboration, “How many of you think Farah and Sunita ji ko collab karna chahiye sochke hi mera dimag hil raha hai.”
