New Delhi: Dubai-based travel influencer and photographer Anunay Sood has died in Las Vegas, his family announced on Thursday morning through a post on his official Instagram account.
He was 32 years old. The cause of his death has not yet been made public, though Las Vegas police have shared initial details about the incident, according to Hindustan Times.
Las Vegas police said in a statement: “On November 4, 2025, LVMPD responded to a dead body located in the 3100 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard. Officers assisted the coroner and took a non-criminal/medical report.” The police and the coroner’s office have not issued any further update on the cause of death.
Sood’s family expressed their grief in a statement, saying, “It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing.”
They also requested privacy during this period of mourning and urged his followers to refrain from gathering near his residence or personal property. “May his soul rest in peace,” the post concluded.
An obituary for Sood was posted by Las Vegas’ Giddens Memorial Chapel. His most recent Instagram post, shared on November 4, featured him attending the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas, a luxury automotive event showcasing rare and classic cars.
In the caption, he wrote, “Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines. Which one would you take for a spin??” He had also uploaded photos from the same event earlier on November 1.
Just days before his death, Sood released a video on his YouTube channel titled Exploring the Hidden Side of Switzerland, Places Tourists Never Visit. His online presence reflected his passion for travel and storytelling, with over 1.4 million followers on Instagram and around 3.8 lakh subscribers on YouTube.
Sood had visited 46 countries and was listed in Forbes India’s Top 100 Digital Stars for three consecutive years, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Based in Dubai, he had founded a digital performance and marketing agency while continuing to pursue his travels.
His family has requested continued privacy as they mourn his loss and have asked followers to keep him and his loved ones in their thoughts.
