New Delhi: MrBeast, the 27-year-old YouTuber known for large-scale challenges and giveaways, is reportedly preparing to enter the telecommunications sector with his own phone company.

According to Business Insider, MrBeast plans to launch a mobile phone service next year. The report also noted that he and executives at Beast Industries are considering ventures in fintech and mobile gaming.

The proposed plan includes establishing a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), a model in which mobile service is provided using the networks of established carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, or Verizon. By partnering with an existing operator, MrBeast could offer service at competitive rates without the expense of building a new network.

This approach is similar to other celebrity-led ventures, including Ryan Reynolds’ Mint Mobile, which was later sold to T-Mobile for around $1.35 billion. T-Mobile has previously collaborated with MrBeast, providing an MVNO solution.

The potential phone company would be part of MrBeast’s broader business portfolio, which includes food brands Feastables and Lunchly, as well as a toy line. While his YouTube channel boasts around 430 million subscribers, the report noted that his media operations have yet to turn a profit.
