The Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has come up with its branded content miniseries named 'Double Trouble in Erangel'.

In the last 10 days, BGMI has unveiled eight episodes within their miniseries.

Erangel, the initial playable map developed for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG). PUBG left India following the government's prohibition on it and more than 100 other Chinese apps in 2020.

In 2021, the game returned to India as BGMI but the central government again banned it in 2022 only for it to return in May 2023.

'Double Trouble In Erangel' comprises eight episodes, available on BGMI's YouTube page, with each episode having a duration of less than three-and-a-half minutes.

This is a humorous story about Nikhil and Siddhi, players of BGMI, whose budding romance takes an unexpected turn when Siddhi's sister, Riddhi, develops feelings for Nikhil. Amidst this double trouble, the duo also has to gear up for an upcoming BGMI tournament.

New Delhi's Rusk Studios, a digital entertainment company with a GenZ-first focus according to its LinkedIn profile, is the creator and producer of the miniseries.
