CMS Asia announces second ASEAN edition to be held on August 15

Following the recently concluded fifth South Asia edition and inaugural Content Marketing Awards in association with Best Media Info in Gurgaon in February 2018, CMS Asia has announced the second ASEAN edition of the Content Marketing Summit that will take place on August 15 in Singapore.

The first part of the ASEAN edition was held on October 10, 2017 in Singapore.

“CMS Asia is the first marketing conference of Indian origin to launch in other markets. We will soon be expanding into other APAC markets to grow the content marketing ecosystem in this region,” said RP Singh, Chief Curator and Chairperson of Asia’s largest content marketing conference, CMS Asia.

The fifth edition of CMS Asia partnered with Best Media Info for the Content Marketing Awards that received over 100 nominations in its first year. The awards were declared in about 20 categories. Myntra won the Company of the year award, Royal Stag was declared Brand of the year and Brave New World won Agency of the year award, respectively.

The first day of the event also witnessed the launch of India’s first and only content marketing news platform, www.buzzincontent.com.

Keynote speakers at the conference included Raghuvesh Sarup, CMO, Microsoft, Virginia Sharma, Director, Marketing Solutions LinkedIn, Srihari Palangala, Head, Marketing, Dell EMC and Samar Singh Sheikhawat, CMO, United Breweries. The event also had speakers from brands like Diageo, Coca-Cola, SAP, Intel, Vodafone, Citi, Max Life, Dolby, Turner among others.

The conference was Powered by LinkedIn, SOCXO was the advocacy partner and Voot came on board as the event’s digital partner for this edition.

The event also attracted exhibitors at the first Content Marketing Expo organised by CMS Asia team.

“The hangover of success can be slightly longer especially when you complete five full house editions in a row. I am personally very satisfied with how we have changed the way marketing events are done in India,” said Singh.
