Duroflex has launched Indian sleep music IP with their digital music series “Sounds of Sleep”, celebrating music as a sleep aid.

The series brought together beloved lullabies of all time from different regions, and created a modern-day rendition of them with singers like Monali Thakur, Shilpa Rao, Chinmayi Sripada, Sanah Moidutty, Shalmali Kholgade, Geetha Madhuri.

The brand has recently launched the second season of Sounds of Sleep. This year, they adopted a slightly different approach with the series, and co-created original lullabies with some of India’s musicians and singers.

The series featured original sleep songs in Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The series has earned a total of over 20 million views across platforms.

Nindiya Re: Performed by Armaan Malik, ‘Nindiya Re’ is a conversation between the sleeper and sleep. This melody is an original composition by Yug Bhusal. Created with simple but beautiful words, this lullaby aims to cradle children and adults alike to sleep.

Aye Ghum: 'Aye Ghum' is a sweet sleep melody from the land of poets – Bengal. The lullaby is inspired by local folklore from the state and sung in the comforting voice of the talented Arko Pravo Mukherjee.

Thaalattu: 'Thaalaattu' means lullaby in Tamil. A description of nature's nightscapes, this sleep song urges the listener to shut their eyes and rest peacefully. The honey-glazed voice of Mahalakshmi Iyer and the nostalgic beats gently lull the listener to sleep.

Jaabili: Sung by the talented Siddharth Mahadevan, this Telugu lullaby requests the moon to let its golden light shine through the night.

The brand also collaborated with over 100 content creators and influencers which became a movement where people shared their sleep routines, favourite lullabies as well as acoustic versions of these lullabies.

Duroflex Sounds of Sleep Season 2 premiered on March 17, on the brand’s YouTube channel and social platforms.

Smita Murarka, CMO, Duroflex, said, “This season has been very exciting for us. This time the property featured our original compositions. The collaborations and the beautiful acoustic covers performed by various content creators, have added to the beauty of this season. We aim to continue to introduce such unique and creative initiatives to reach out to as many people from all across the country and spread the message of the importance of good quality sleep.”
