inDrive, the online ride-hailing service, has collaborated with Hasley India for a new web series named ‘Side by Side’.
Halsey India Originals has a fan following of almost 1.5 million on Instagram and a fanbase of more than 2 million subscribers on YouTube.
inDrive’s mission is to challenge injustice everywhere by keeping human needs in front. It is a people-driven company, which believes that problems can be solved when people come together and work towards a common goal. There is no technology in the world that can replace human empathy. And this is why they decided to work together with Hasley India to bring out five unique human stories about overcoming pertinent social stigmas that exist in Indian society.
These stories, very beautifully, convey that there is no problem big enough in the world, if people decide to understand and help one another. And this is where inDrive aims to become an inseparable part of India, enabling over a billion people to live their lives on fair terms.
“We are excited to be a part of ‘Side by Side’. Through this web series, we are able to highlight inDrive’s unique model, which allows passengers to make a price offer on their ride request and negotiate with nearby drivers. Aside from the fare, passengers are also able to select their driver based on their rating, estimated time of arrival and vehicle model. In turn, drivers are not automatically assigned to passengers, and can choose to accept, ignore or negotiate a more preferable fare. The feature allows inDrive users to get affordable rides at any time of the day,” said Pavit Nanda Anand, inDrive South Asia PR Manager.
"This series is very close to my heart because it brings out the personal challenges faced by every generation in the growth story of India. As India is witnessing 5 generations living together with each having a different mindset, we thought of bringing the stories of these generations and the social stigmas faced by them. The name Side by Side aptly summarises the theme that right companionship and helping each other, any challenge can be overcome," said Ankit Madaan, Founder Hasley India.
